What goes on it?
The usual suspects! It's built around a router and a set-top box, with room alongside for remotes, a small speaker, a charging brick and the little things that end up loose on the console.
Think light electronics rather than a bookshelf — the recommended maximum is around 11lbs, which is comfortably more than a router and a box together, and well short of anything you'd want to stack on it.
How does it go up?
Nice and simply — everything needed to mount it comes in the box, so there's no trip to the hardware store before you can use it.
Pick your spot first. Most people put it just above or beside the TV console so the existing cables still reach, and it's up and loaded in a few minutes.
What about the cables and the lights?
Both stay accessible, and that's on purpose. The top is open rather than closed off, so antennas stand upright, status lights stay in view and you can reach the ports without taking anything down.
The cables run to one spot instead of spreading across a console, which is most of what makes the corner look tidier straight away.
