How does it actually work?
Easy one — it's dual-action, so two things run at once.
High-frequency vibration sets the water itself moving, so it works its way into the textures, ridges and folds that a rinse just runs off.
Purple light runs alongside it the entire cycle, glowing under the water so you can see at a glance that it's going.
Fill a bowl or plug the sink, add your food, drop the unit in and switch it on. You'll hear it working — that hum is the vibration doing its job.
What can I use it on?
More than you'd think! Berries, grapes and cherry tomatoes are the obvious win — no more picking through them one at a time.
It's just as good on the textured ones: broccoli, cauliflower, leafy greens, herbs and mushrooms.
And it isn't only for produce. Seafood, cuts of meat, dried beans and grains like rice all go in the bowl too.
Does it float around?
It stays put! There's a suction cup on the base that grips the bottom of whatever you're using, so it sits still and works from one spot instead of drifting to the surface.
And because there's no special basin to buy, it works in a mixing bowl, a stockpot, a washing-up bowl or straight in a plugged sink.
Is it really safe under water?
It is! The unit is rated IPX7, which means it's built to be fully submerged rather than just splash-resistant. It sits right in the bowl with your food, with the USB cord running up out of the water.
