What fits in the slots?

The slots take handles — round barrel brushes, combs, tail combs and slim-handled paddle brushes all sit fine.

The one to check is a very chunky paddle brush with a wide moulded handle, which can be too broad for the hole. Those tend to be happier laid in the centre well.

How sturdy is it?

Being straight with you: it's lightweight plastic, and a few buyers have said it feels light in the hand. Loaded evenly it sits steady, but it isn't a heavy salon fixture.

Spread the weight around the ring rather than hanging four heavy brushes off one side and it stays put.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth. Hair and product residue don't sink into smooth plastic, so it's a ten-second job rather than a project.

How many should I get?
