Mini Heat Bag Sealer | Kitchen Essentials
Shut, Rather Than Folded Over And Hoped For.
It runs a heat seal across the top of the bag, so the half-used packet in the cupboard is genuinely closed instead of clipped and leaking.

How do I actually use it?
There's a knack to it and it's worth two minutes on an empty bag before you try it on the good coffee. Let it warm up for around fifteen seconds, pull the top of the bag flat and taut with both hands so there are no creases in the plastic, then press the sealer down over the edge and draw it along slowly and evenly.
Slow and steady is the whole trick. Rushing it or letting the plastic wrinkle is what makes a seal that doesn't hold — get the pace right once and it's the same every time after that.
What kinds of bags does it work on?
Thin plastic film — crisp packets, cereal liners, frozen vegetable bags, pasta, rice, coffee and freezer bags. Crisp packets are the one buyers mention most.
What it won't do is thick foil pouches, heavy mylar, resealable zip-lock bags or anything paper. If the bag is stiff enough to hold its own shape, it's too thick for this.
Does it need batteries?
Yes — it runs on 2 AA batteries, so it's worth having a pair ready for when it arrives rather than discovering the drawer is empty. Batteries do not come included.
Is it safe to use around the kitchen?
The sealing strip gets hot in use, so treat it like any heated tool — keep it away from children, don't touch the strip, and let it cool before it goes back in the drawer.
It's CE marked and takes standard AA batteries, with no mains cord to worry about.
