The six compartments take brushes, nail polish, lipsticks, liners and mascaras standing up. The drawer underneath is sized for flat things — compacts, palettes, tweezers, small jewellery.

It's a compact vanity organizer rather than a full station, so it's at its best holding your everyday set rather than an entire collection.

Does the drawer pull out smoothly?

Yes — it slides on moulded runners and pulls out from the front, so you don't need to lift or shuffle the top section to get into it.
