The Lines A Cloth Just Skates Straight Over.

You can clean a bathroom properly and it still looks off, because the dirt isn't on the tiles — it's in the lines between them. A cloth bridges the gap. A sponge bridges the gap. Your thumb in a cloth almost gets there and then gives up.

This brush is a thin blade of stiff bristles on a long handle, shaped to drop into the gap instead of skating over it. Grout lines, the seam behind the taps, sliding window tracks, the channel round the shower tray, the strip where the worktop meets the wall.

It's the sort of thing you buy for one job and then find five more for in the same afternoon. Rinse it under the tap when you're done and it's ready for the next one.

  • Thin Enough For The Gap

A narrow blade of bristles, not a fat sponge head.

  • Stiff Bristles

Firm enough to actually shift what's settled in there.

  • Grout, Tracks, Seams

Tile joints, window channels, the line behind the tap.

  • Fixes The Line You Can See

The bit that makes a clean room still look grubby.

  • Rinses Clean

Straight under the tap, shake it out, done.

  • Kitchen And Bathroom

Worktop edges, sink seams, tiles, shower trays.

Get Into The Line, Not Over It.

A narrow, stiff-bristled brush built for grout lines, window tracks and every seam a cloth is too fat to reach.

Where does it actually work best?

Tile grout, the seam where a worktop meets the wall, around the base of taps, sliding window and door tracks, shower trays and toilet joints — anywhere with a narrow line that collects grime.

Basically anywhere you've been meaning to get to with an old toothbrush.

Will it scratch my surfaces?

The bristles are firm, which is what makes it work on grout — so give it a quick try somewhere out of sight first if you're using it on a polished or coated finish.

On tile, grout, plastic tracks and sealant it's straightforward.

Do I need to use cleaner with it?

Whatever you'd normally use is fine. A lot of people just wet it and go, then come back with a spray for anything that's been sitting a while.

The brush is doing the reaching — the cleaner is doing the rest.

How many should I get?

They're the kind of thing that ends up in more than one place — one under the kitchen sink and one in the bathroom cupboard saves carrying it about, which is why the bundle is the one most people take.
