Will my scale fit?

The brackets are made for standard square digital bathroom scales, which is most of what's on sale.

If yours is unusually thick, has a chunky rubber rim, or is one of the round glass ones, measure the depth before ordering — that's the dimension that matters.

How do I stick them on?

Clean the tile properly with something that removes grease, dry it, then press each bracket firmly for around thirty seconds. Leave it 24 hours before you put the scale in — that curing time is what makes the difference.

Smooth tile, glass or sealed painted wall all work. Textured wallpaper and bare grout don't give the adhesive enough to grip.

How far apart should they go?

Hold the scale against the wall where you want it to live, mark either side, and set the brackets so they cradle it snugly without forcing it.

Low down is best — you want to lift it out and step onto it in one movement.

Will it come off the wall later?

It's designed to. Warming the adhesive gently softens it so it peels away rather than taking the paint with it.
