How big is it, and will it cover my machine?
Straight answer, because this is the thing worth knowing before you order: it's 19.7" × 23.6" cm. A standard washing machine top is closer to 23.6" x 23.6", so this is a panel that sits across the top rather than a cover that wraps the whole appliance.
What is it actually for?
Two things. It changes how the appliance or kitchen counter looks, swapping bare white metal for a wood-grain surface — which matters most when the machine sits somewhere you actually see it.
And it takes the wear. Detergent drips, the ring from a bottle, the scuff from a laundry basket going down: all of that lands on the mat rather than your surface's finish.
Can I use it somewhere else?
Yes — a tumble dryer is the obvious companion, and a pair makes a laundry stack look like one piece of furniture.
